Hanyuan Church in Ningqiang County, Hanzhong City, China's northern Shaanxi Province, nestled within the Qinling-Daba Mountains, has grown from over 20 members to more than 200 after experiencing spiritual maturity led by its pastors amid all sorts of difficulties.

In mid-December last year, a friend and I embarked on an early morning journey with anticipation for the Xiaoshuijing Farmers’ Choir in Yunnan Province, taking multiple modes of transportation to travel thousands of miles to this Miao village for their Christmas celebration.

As Father Tertullianus said, "The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church." Because of the blood and sacrifice of many missionaries and pastors at home and abroad, the seeds of the gospel have taken deep root in Shouyang County, Shanxi Province.
